I built my computer at the end of 2020. As my first PC build, it was challenging and arduous and nerve-wracking, and I was so scared I'd mess it up. I was right that I would get many things wrong, but as many great people have said: "It's the journey that counts, not the destination."
However, it would have been much more satisfying if the journey was a sprint and not a marathon.
My Dad's computer was built at the end of 2021, and it was a much easier experience since I was also more experienced. It was satisfying to pack all the parts into the smaller case, and also fun to research all the alternatives and choices I could make to reduce the size of the computer as much as possible.
